adsense stats gone nuts!

this happened to me about 2 months ago but now it's happening again, and it's lasting longer.

Impressions are 10 times higher than normal, and CTR is 10 times lower than normal, but clicks and revenue have remained the same.

I can't find anywhere in the logs that the traffic is coming from. It is an adsense bot or something like that?

I'm not really freaking out, as revenue and number of clicks haven't changed, it's just that it's showing that I'm getting 10 times more views, when that is really not the case. WISH I WAS! With that many ad views at my regular ctr and epc, I'd be a walking erection!

It's probably some sort of spyware/adware. Look for traffic from the referrng url "icannnews.com/cgi-bin/" in your log. Write an .htaccess to disable it.

I'm sure it's something stupid in your logs. I was in your shoes couple of weeks ago - spent more time tracking logs and it was something dumb. Anyway, good luck.
