Hi I earned the grand sum of .76 cent last week! I was both amazed and delighted! cos although I kept reading of all these people earning xyz I honestly didn't think I was going to get anything LOL. The website is brand new I haven't advertised or promoted it at all yet! so it was a bonus! Onwards and Upwards! Anyway my question is this. (when u read this you will know how little I know LOL) My website obviously has a basic theme (it's a wahm site actually) but within that different pages and articles have different themes and so I've put the meta tags on those pages to reflect that BUT I notice that when I put adsense on any page other than the home page it still just shows up adds relevent for the site in general and not that specific page? if u follow what I mean, In other words I might have a page on crafts or cooking whatever but google still shows work at home adds? so does it pick the adds from the general site tags? or how do I get it to put the right adds on the right pages!

many tks

it can sometimes take a little while for Google to fully spider all your pages where you are displaying ads. Generaly as time goes by your ads will get a lot more tageted. With a bit of luck the more targeted ads will increase your income. :)

Everhopefull,

get more web sites linking to your web site so Googlebot comes to your web site more often and spiders more web pages.

Be thankful you are getting ads related to the theme of your website. At the beginning Adsense would only give you Public Service Announcements.

Congrats on the 76 cents - just think, some of those cents were probably gained while you were asleep!

Er... 76 cents a day, that's over 277 dollar a year.
Not bad for a beginner!

Yeh sometimes google adsense takes a few weeks to start dishing out relevant ads, give it some time. If it still doesn't put out relevenant ads just contact google they were a great help to me

It was a week income = 11 cents a day.
My first month (28 days) was $2.49 and I'm now in a $1.00 to $3.50 a day.

Indeed, I am sorry, it was a weeks pay.
By the way, my first day with AS was about 1 dollar.
That was 4 months ago. Now I am p****d off when I don't make 5 bucks a day. Usually I am somewhere between 5 to 10 bucks a day. Great stuff!

i'll join in and say i've just made my first $0.72 from adsense. :)

i've been reading threads for months about people earning hundreds per day, and the implication that some people earn a lot more than that, and wondering if i'd ever make anything.

i got the idea for my site in may, and have been adding my content ever since. some days i wouldn't feel like doing it, and i'd come in here to read threads instead.

but i kept reading about content and ideas and strategies and getting excited again and going back to my content.

so, i may only have 100 pages so far of hand-written content (and my $0.72), but thank you to everyone who has posted such good advice and helped me stay motivated. :)

I'm averaging $20 per day this month, which is in some ways pretty lame for the full time effort :D But each month that passes does seem to add $5 per day in income, and I see this continuing for a long long time.
