I just found out that I already made $2.30 today and the day just started (at least in the US).
It's my record so far and the first time that I'm above the $2 dollar mark. Thanks to all of you for constantly motivating people that are new to AdSense like myself. This forum is a big asset for everyone, who is working on a quality website in whatever sector.

Sure!
My website started in May 2005 (end of May). Then I applied for AdSense and got accepted on July 1st 2005. My first application was rejected b/c the site was heavily under construction.
My website is in the educational/distance-learning sector.
My average earnings per month so far were:
July: $0.18
August: $0.64
September: $1.37

My traffic is still very low with an average unique visits of 50-60 per day. I only have about 7 incoming links so far, of which 4 are "one-way" links (I don't link to them, but they link to me). I'm not in the open directory (ODP) yet, nor in any other directory. But I submitted to the ODP and to all mayor search engines (mainly the G & the Y).

If you want to know more details about how I got there (not very far yet, but I can't complain), please let me know.
