I put google adsense in my error docs document.. so when they make a typo it appears at the bottom.

Anyway its showing credit card and finance ads on my site. My site has nothing to do with those products.. so anyone know why its showing these type of ads?

Putting AdSense on any type of "thank you" registration confirmation page is against the TOS. I'm pretty sure this also applies towards 404 pages.

Why not have your 404 page redirect to the home page, or better yet parse out the attempted URL and redirect them to a closely related content page.

Ad Placement
Only one ad unit may be placed on each web page.
Ads must not be displayed on any domain parking websites, pop-ups, pop-unders, error, registration, or "thank you " pages, search results pages, or in any email.
Ads may not be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant.
Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads, and the ad colors must be such that the ad text and URL are visible.
