Just logged in to see how it's doing. 9 views and 1 click in 6 days. This click gives me 2c.

If I get 2 cents in 6 days, then I get 1 cent in 3. Multiply the minimum payment of 5000c ($50) by 3 and divide the total by 365 means that it will take me 41+ years to make minimum payment! I'll be way over retirement age by then.

When alternate ads display isn't that simple as any series of words on a page that set off the AdSense blocking mechanism you're stuck in PSA hell for reasons unknown.

You can hack up a page until ads display again and figure out more or less what blocked the ads, but it's a real pain when the words that triggered it aren't terribly obvious.

88 AltURL impressions - 0 clicks

If I could manage to get a 1% CTR, and for examples's sake, avg it up to $0.05/click, it'd take me 90 million page impressions (10 months) to make that $50.

What's the rate of 'no ads'?

If you do that math, even if 50% of your ads could be fullfilled by AtlURL, and assuming a 1% CTR @ $0.05/click... 10,000 pages would equate to $2.50 of AtlURL income.
Are you serving 10,000 pages per day or month? If it's 10,000 pages per month, you're still looking at 20 months to reach that min payment.

I'm convinced that that the number of folks who will ever see a dime is extremely small.

If you miraculously did fit into a category that would actually generate some AltURL income, you'd probably be better off running affiliate programs targetted towards your site's theme/audience.
