Hi, just started my own website a week ago and for the first click, I got 45 cents from Adsense. However, although the second click registered yesterday, I got no income from it. Strange? I only have one ad sense box with 3-4 ads in it (although sometimes only one ad shows up in the whole box, usually three show up, and sometimes four show up?!), and all ads are almost identical as my topic is quite narrow. I would think a click on any of the 1-4 ads would bring in similar revenue.

Thanks.

Just because it registered on your counter -d oes not mean it made it to googles counter. Network latencey, droped packets - there are any number of reasons it didn't go through. It may have also gotten filtered as as a suspect click due to proxy server - bad agent name - repetitive clicking (on other peoples adsense ads)...etc.

It registered in the adsense account..not on my counter, which I am yet to install.

Then I'd say b was the answer - it got filtered as a errant, bogus, or suspect click. no worries...
