Has anyone else experienced a significant eCPM decrease from August 16 and forward?

I haven't seen any big drop. August as a whole has been a little weaker than July, but that shouldn't be surprising with so many people--including advertisers--on vacation. (My affiliate bookings tend to slow down in August, too, but they get a second wind after Labor Day.)

Yes, but since the 18th I think...

My eCPM was strong all month, and then suddenly dropped off significantly on 08/16. I've been wondering ever since if it might have to do with the most recent adwords changes.

Yep, plummeted from an average of 12cents a click, to an average of 4cents on August 19. Still running at the same today.

Thinking of trying Crispads for a bit, seeing as my site's blog-based.

I am just having extreme ups and downs.

Today is low, yesturday (early am hours only) were EXTREMELY high... roller coaster. I'm getting used to it.

It's all over the darned place however my advice would not be to do anything until the new Adwords stuff has filtered through since many of the advertisers are having a difficult time getting to grips with it.

At the time of writing this there is a 32 page thread:

Mine is dropped down to 0.03 today.
Adbrite gives You min 0.05 - 0.08.

Start trying Adbrite on my biggest Adsense site.

Tired.

yes, it's decreased for some of us and hopefully G will soon find a way to sort out the difficulties advertisers are facing & fuming about it in adwords forum:

No. One of our sites is up 60% eCPM/EPC. Looks like the PPC guys in this niche are savvy.

Best of luck.

I saw a drop in eCPM Aug 15-19, but then it spiked up to above average 20-23. I looked back at previous months and have seen similar roller coaster rides, so I'm not concerned either way. I'm working hard to look at my AS stats on a monthly basis, not daily or even weekly. It's hard to train the mind sometimes!

Mines down 15-20% starting aug 2. For me, I think it is a combination of august vacations and having added a lot of new subject/content during Jul/Aug.

Traffic has been low all month until today where it has returned to good levels.

must have been a fluke or something. Back up yesterday and today has started out about 20% above normal...?

Google is getting greedy, now they are manupulating search results they are testing a NEW UI, you can try it here [google.co.in...]

or by searching for the term piggy bank or search for "Add URL"
have a look at 6,7,8 results

Adsense publishers all over are screaming over there earnings going down from Adsense.
