Finally, Google gave us a listing of what our visitors are using to search our sites! This is a feature that I really want for Adsense search. While I am only making enough to buy a Levi's jeans in a month with Adsense search, the lack of reporting on keywords of queries has made me think long and hard whether to continue with Adsense search or simply change it with another search app. It's not making big money for me anyway.

But with this new feature, I am definitely staying with Adsense Search (never mind that it brings me only a few dollars per day). Knowing what my users search for in my sites is important to me.

Thanks Google for listening!

Yes, very cool new feature. I played with it today some. So many new features, so little time...

Just spotted it and about to report it, but seems I was beaten to it. This is really great! I have loved to know what people have been searching for, helps me design the site better.

Browsing through the searches I start to understand why my AdSense for Search isn't paying off better.

My visitors search for the weirdest stuff! Most of it WAY off my topics too.

A really useful feature for webmasters who can build and expand based on their user searches. I think this piece of information will be very important to me if i choose to use it effectively to create content for what my user is searching for.

Search results can be quite amusing to browse through.

Should be said though that this can be done with most internal search engines.

I was playing with this earlier today.

If you do a lot of searches though, the top 25 probably won't be enough, and you will have to extract your search queries the old fashioned way. Likewise, if you have lots of unique searches, this report won't help much, since it needs to be searched for twice before being displayed.

However, it is nice to see an update to the AdSense for Search product :)

Yep. Somebody searched for someone's name. Then there's the words that don't look like they're words at all.

It's great to hear you're enjoying this new feature, and especially that you feel it can help you improve your sites. I know publishers have been asking for the top queries feature, so I'm glad you're putting it to good use.

It's also nice to know that it's entertaining as well as informative ;)

I saw a certain name coming up in my top searches as well, icedowl. It turns out she's pretty famous in my niche. I didn't know... now I do.

I think it's a great addition too!

What seems to have happened in my case is that people assume it's a search box for the web and don't notice that the "Search this site" is the default checked option. Looking at the report I see a lot of searches for cultural events in Boston, MA. So I'm assuming that the visitor got a bit dissapointed in not finding what he wanted on my site. Unless of course he checked the "web" button.

As a suggestion, maybe Google could look at showing if the search was for "This site" or "Web" on the report? It would be useful to know.

I think the key is to see what people are searching for and then make the pages on that subject, as long as it is on topic.
I notice that most people are searching for names.
I certainly will not make a joe smith page.

I have many movie star galleries. Hundreads of them. Now I know which actress is popular in my niche. This name keeps coming at the top consistently in the search keyword list. I already have a page for this name, but it seems users still search for it. That reminds me to build more content around that name.

I have to say I love this new feature as well! Now all we need is more options to be able to blend the search box into our site as the premium publishers have. I really believe AdSense for Search is not being fully exploited as yet. Ironic when you think we're dealing with Google.

I found many negative keywords to add to my adwords account. I was apparently getting a lot of folks interested in population and census info - which has little to do with my site.
