One of my friend copied few pages of content from another site & he placed google adds on it. After few days that guy sent a mail to google-abuse@ by explaining about content theft aganist my friend.
Does google ban my friend? He is worrying & removed those pages from his site.
Does it comes under TOS? Does google ban him?
hmm. I gone through TOS but i did't find it.
maybe your friend should be the one going through TOS, eh?
?
ohh.. probably nothing... these "my friend did this" posts all start to look a little bit the same after a while....
Good luck helping your "friend". My guess is that he'll undoubtedly need it...
Details on how to complain can be found here: [google.com...]
I typically send 10 to 12 letters of type 2 to Google Adsense a month. It's great. The success rate is 100%. Every page I have complained about is changed or taken down within a couple weeks. I have never had such good success with anything on the Internet. Off hand, I can't think of any dealing with a big company that is as smooth and successful as complaining to Google's AdSense program about copies.
I typically do not send DMCA complaints of type 1 because after a type 2 letter, the copy comes down and that's really all I care about. I don't believe Google "bans" the page. It's still in the index, I think.
About 20% to 30% of the complaints I make generate a letter from the publisher to Google with an excuse for why they copied. The excuses make me roll my eyes. They are lame. I don't know why Google sends me a copy of these letters because they doesn't really concern me. I don't want to deal with the publisher or have anything to do with them. These letters concern a matter between the publisher and Google.

I find it difficult to forgive people who steal my content and usually report them or always keep a watch on them.

hdpt00, someone stole your content and you were banned?
Yah. My AdWord rep gave me some tips on how to get unbanned. Last week I was unbanned (from greybar). I now show PR0 on all of my sites, nothing in the site: command, but hoping this means I'm at least not banned and hopefully get back in the index soon.
Sitting pretty at #1 in yahoo out of 16 million results for one of my sites. Definite authority for that niche, google doesn't agree.
