I have a feeling that using the blend page transition effect ( IE only ) not only makes the site 'appear' in my niche but may also increase the CTR.

Is anyone here using any page transition in ther sites? does it effect the CTR?

Is it in clash with TOS statement of drawing undue attention.

Oh, I've used a transition on my one of my small sites for the longest time. I can't see how it would affect CTR or how it could possibly be against AdSense T&C.

We are talking a random fade-in/fade-out or wiping the site from left to right, diagonally, or top to bottom. Just a funsy thing.

That IS what you are asking about, right?

yes, thats what i am talking about. but instead of random, i have used only fade-in effect for a very very short duration ( 2 seconds ). so it just makes the page appear fading in.

i expereinced a CTR boost ( marginal only ) and dont know if it is due to this effect?

do you think it conflicts with TOS? anyone please?

only people who can really tell you are adsense support - but since i.e page transitions have been around much longer than adsense - and you aren't specifically drawing attention to the ads then I would not imagine there would be a problem whatsoever. You might find it annoys the hell out of your visitors though:

maybe that's it - rather than face another IE special effect maybe your visitors are clicking on the ads as they know they'll be spared... ;-) just kidding

There is nothing in the TOS against this.. Unless you transition to a page that asks for users to click on your ads..
