Adsense as a living

Hi folks,

This has probably been asked for a thousand times, but how many of you do this for a living? Are there people here who solely depend on their Adsense income? Isn't that scary, with Google capable of pulling the plug instantly and stuff?

I don't solely depend on Adsense income, but Google is one of my larger clients. Is it scary? No, not really - I've found if you provide genuine value for clients they tend to want to keep paying for advertising space.

This is the key, of course - your living depends on your site(s) rather than one particular ad program. Rather than betting everything on AdSense, you should also look for complementary alternatives which will allow you to continue if your AdSense earnings were to drop. Possibilities? Affiliate links, alternative ad networks...
