Does Ad Size Relate to Ads Served?

Hi Everyone,

I've been reading the terrific advice at this forum for a while but this is my first post. I'm not new to AdSense but
I've run into a strange situation with a new site I'm developing. I created four different index pages that vary in the placement and size of ads. The page that looks the best from a design perspective seems to generate the least relevant ads (on topic but geared to a younger audience). The page that I feel looks the worst is serving the better ads. Everything else on the pages is exactly the same - text, titles, images, keywords, etc. Any thoughts on this? Should I stay with the better looking home page or forego style and focus on the ads? Will this situation straighten itself out once the site is fully linked and online?

Thanks for your advice.

What do you all think?
Should I go with the better looking home page or the more relevant ads?

Thanks!

maybe you should try a few more designs - it should have both good design and relevant ads IMO
