does anybody who receives secure delivery adsense checks in the U.S. know if you have to sign for the check in person? in other words, does DHL require that the addressee sign for the delivery, or can it be anyone?

also, if no one is around to receive the delivery, does DHL leave a notice on the door, and make attempts on the following two days, like UPS and FedEx?

thanks for any help with this (just trying to do some travel planning)

here in India , DHL requires the signature of either the addressee or anyone of his family members. But i don't know what about it in US.

Of course they follow all the required procedures to make it "secure". That's why they call it so and you pay an extra $24. :)
