I saw an item on FOX News last week about the exact same thing happening to a guy in Mexico. Apparently Google notified the local authorities and a "Mexican S.W.A.T." team raided his house early one morning. The next day he was walking around that famous compound in a bright orange jumpsuit.
You won't catch me clicking my own Google Adsense Ads - and particularly not ADMITTING TO IT on an internet forum where you can be traced from!
A guy over here in the UK admitted that he was clicking on his own ads. The "big guy" took him away before dawn one morning and he was dragged behind a cart from Glasgow to London before being beheaded and his head mounted on a pole in Charing Cross. You can still see the skull on the pole there with its big google eyes :)
(I'm only joking BTW, but I don't know about LexLuther.)
sory to google and the affected advertisers.
You should be sorry for starting this post.
are they gonna file a case against me or what?
However, they will disable your account if they find out you cheated by clicking on your own ads.
Thanks.. that made my day!
>Hope they were smart enough to use a proxy...

The ads that are displayed in your searchbox are still associated with your AdSense account. They are credited to your balance, so financially they are "your" ads, although you did not add the code to display them.
