This is my very first post in this platform.

Thank you.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld vbPoetess!

Please take a moment to read our Terms and Conditions here:-

[webmasterworld.com...]

... in particular please note that we do not allow the posting of promotional URL's.

In relation to the AdSense T&C's:-

AdSense participants are not allowed to alter any portion of the ad code or change the layout, behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads for any reason.

Seems pretty clear to me that you can't.

Where did you read Google saying that you can?

Either a premium publisher or breaking the TOS.

Labeling Ads

Publishers may not label the ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements." This includes any text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads.

read at: [google.com...]
i think it is legal because <snip> is running very well.
What i want ... is to know how to do it ..(PHP)..

That relates to labelling, not replacing code.

As mentioned above, premium publishers are able to do this with express permission from Google. If you are a premium publisher, or have a specific requirement to do this, the best thing would be to contact google and ask.

Please note our T&C's noted above about the posting of URL's.

Thanks,

TJ

hmm Ok
but how strange it is that <snip>. is not looking to be premium publisher and yet changing code.
and Google is unaware of it :S

It's perfectly legal, just against Google's rules! ;)

As someone mentioned, premium publishers have more options to customising the look of ads, etc, but for the average Joe publisher it is not possible.

Although I havn't done it, surely you could make a css box with the same color as the background on the advert and place it over the text you want hidden.

I imagine it would be undetectable by google as well...

Short answer,
you cant.

Long answer,
you can but don't expect to keep your Adsense account. Google don't want us to remove the ads by google part, thats why it is clearly stated in the tos that you cant alter the code in any way.
