Very Low CPC on Sitesearch

I`ve been testing the Adsense for Sitesearch just to discover something about it. Today, I have 23 clicks but I only earn $0.55. What the......

count your blessings, .55 is good. I barely do that in a month with google search, if I depended on search I would likely starve LOL

I've been averaging around 50 cents a day for several months now. It is there only because my customers need search on the site and I'm ever optimistic of a multi-dollar click one day.

Yah.. me too. I put the site search primarily to help my user. But now I am thinking of providing my own search, then I will rather put the adsense ad on it because i know it has higher cpc.
