For example I'd like to track subsections of a website, the exact ad when I have more than one on a page, color of an ad when I'm testing color schemes, whether a visitor is logged in etc. At the moment I can only test these things one after another by switching all the channels from time to time. Of course, for all this to work, you would probably need a lot more channels than currently allowed.
I'd like to track ... the exact ad when I have more than one on a page
I guess you mean 'ad block' not 'ad' (unless you only have image ads)?
I have 3 G ad blocks per page and one 'ad link' (the maximum permitted). Each block and the link have a channel making a total of 4 channels.
Granted I cannot tell exactly what page they're on when they click on the ad (not without hacking their js of course or somehow embedding their js in mine :o ), but my pages all have the same basic structure and the channels relate to the position on the page (and colour etc if I so choose).
Did you mean?
I'd like to track ... the exact ad block when I have more than one page displaying the same channel
As far as if someone's logged in - alternate js with different channels again - but I take you're point that you'd run put eventually.
(I'd prefer to know the *exact* keyword that triggered my biggest paying clicks ;))
