Someone copies a page with your adsense code

what do you do?

Inform Google about it and ask the copier to remove the page and code or just ignore it? If has been copied intentionally, the person may further sabotage your account.

Google has information enough to know who copy who.

If a webmaster copies you, first email him.

If he don't answer or don't wants to get off the copied content, and uses Adsense, you can email Google about this.

If someone copies you and emails Google telling you are the copyright violatior, Google will investigate to know who is telling the truth, sure.

Contact Google with the offending URL that is running your AdSense code (with your publisher ID).

I have contacted Google and they have already stopped displaying ads on the website.
I was checking my website on Yahoo, and I found this website with my adsense code

But now you will not get paid for his click throughs.
Why tell them?

if they have been generating invalid clicks on that site, i lose all my earnings.

Some jerk stole an entire section of my website (about 200 pages out of 10k+) and added them to his existing site. He didn't even take the time to change the header or copyright notice on any of the pages. Every page had my Google AdSense code on it as well. A two-second glance and it would be obvious that they were my pages.

I contacted Godaddy (his web host) and gave them the URLs of the copied pages on his site and the URLs of the original pages on my site. They sent me an email back telling me to fill out a formal DMCA complaint. I did, and over a week later the pages are still up. Godaddy says without proof of a copyright filing they won't remove my pages from his site.

I contacted AdSense support and the AdSense was disabled from showing on his entire site within hours (both my AdSense code and his). The next day his site disappeared from the Google SERPS and his Toobar PR on the homepage went from 4 to 0.

Complaining to Google does work...

If someone copies my content, I would make double sure he gets thrown out from adsense & all search engines.

I wouldn't give him the chance to change the page. If he stole it once, what's to stop him from stealing again? Report him.

I would say it's perfect proof they stole and send the DMCA reports to Google.

Google will find it hard to not boot them from AdSense with such proof )

With one offender, it took GoDaddy (the webhost) about 48 hours to respond to our formal DCMA and remove the site. It took Google a week to respond to the DCMA that we faxed to them. It took Adsense two weeks to respond to the DCMA -- at the time when the site has already been pulled down by the webhost. I was disappointed with the slowness of Adsense response in this case.

Copying your site is bad enough, copying your site including your adsense publisher's ID is a double whammy, especially if you are earning significant monies from the program. It's just too high of a risk.

The copied page only has my Adsense code, Google has already stopped showing ads on that page.
If invalid clicks were generated on that page, would they affect my account (my CPM for July was down 10%)?
Does sending an email to the website owner who has copied the page, have any effect or will they just launch another click attack on your websites?

Send a polite email to the owner informing him that he has stolen your content.
I am sure he knows if he does not oblige, you will report him to adsense.
No one wants trouble.
