I'm posting on here because I've been thinking of a way to maximize profits and minimize time and would like your opinion:
If I were to make a website with approx. a dozen pages, all of them with content/articles related to a high paying keyword, say mesothelioma, how much work/time do you suppose it would take to make $100/day from such a website?
Any unput would be much appreciated...
The keywords you select are the ones everybody who wants to get rich quick are doing the same on. It's a saturated market. Remember that the high payers will expect value for money. Therefore, whatever traffic you send their way *has* to convert well for them in order for them to be paying that sort of money.
With adsense, advertisers can choose what sites to target, and will only spend a lot on clicks on sites they know historically convert for them. Also, smartpricing will decide what the click is worth. One guy who is doing just what you want to do was complaining he is only getting $0.07 per click for what he *thought* should be an $80+ click. That's because advertisers and Google know the value of traffic from made for adsense sites, and price accordingly.
To get high value clicks, you have to have advertisers select you for it based on historically good conversions for them.

Hey, that was my idea! How can I ever afford the payments on the yacht if I'm reduced to writing articles on Albanian snail-farming techniques because that`s the only niche left after you guys snag all the good keywords?
