How well does banner rotation software work?

Curious if any of you folks are using phpNewAds or other banner rotation software to deliver your Adsense ads in rotation with other advertisements that you may have in your inventory.

Any downsides to using this software?

You may not find anyone who posts here rotating their AdSense ads with other inventory as AdSense is far more lucrative than most other ad inventory.

The only sites I've seen rotating AdSense are premium publishers like newspaper websites.

This thread [webmasterworld.com] has information on using phpAdsNew in messages # 25 & 28.

I think there may have been confusion with your title with lead to no one answering - I believe you are actually referring to phpAdsNew, although people often confuse the title and refer to it as phpNewAds.
