and now the worrying begins. I'm small potatoes, but my site is begginning to increase it's hits per day and more visitors and coming to my site. Now the fear kicks in that just when things are looking up, google might ban me because I do not generate enough hits.

Try $100 after like 4.5 months....altough the majority was in the last 3 months.

(my site's ads generate usually .05 per click, becuase of the content matter.

I've had ideas on how to promote my site, but I did not want to take the risk, so I didn't (I toyed with the idea of advertising around my university, but didn't want a lot of clicks coming from the same main campus.)

I had joined AdSense in December, and placed it on my personal website (mainly a blog). It wasn't until March when I placed it on a community site that I built that I began to really make any money.

For my blog, the daily hits were small enough for me to say they were nonexistant. Page views recorded Dec through Feb ranged from < 100 to < 1000, with no data (0) for some days.

With that said, I hope your worries are subsided.
