Do you think guys that the position and the number of adsense advertisement in the webpage affect the cost per click? I just notice this, that after I remove One of my add, before it was two - one banner and one link ad, the cost per click greatly increase. base from my 4 months of putting adsense ad, it was not like this before. Also the position of the advertisement does not mix with the content. It is located slightly away from the content of my webpage.

The number of ad blocks definitely affect your CPC, because putting too many of them on a page increases the chances of displaying the 'cheaper' ads on the page and being clicked on. It also decreases your eCPM because of the higher number of ad impressions. The location of your ad blocks may also affect your CPC, since it determines which becomes more visible to your reader's eye - the expensive or the cheaper ads.

I have also found that the ad position on a page effects the ads it serves.
