Taking longer to get paid for AdSense

Is it just me or has it been taking longer and longer to get paid for AdSense over the last several months?

It doesn't seem that long ago that we could count on having the check a few days before the end of the month, then the April check was received June 1st, then May was received July 2nd. Now it's the 26th and our account still shows 'Payment in progress' which I think means that the check hasn't been cut yet.

Is it just me?

Since the program started, there was only 1 month when G really messed up (I think it was Sept 2003 when payments were received Nov instead of end-October). I know there was a month when the EFT arrived just a day after the payment in progress showed up, so I don't think it is really that the check is yet to be cut.

Calm down. Take a deep breath. The check's coming (or EFT or whatever). Tomorrow or the next few days, you'll see folks racing to do the first post on "EFT/CHECK HAS ARRIVED!"

They don't have to send $ until the 30th of the following month, just some months we have gotten paid a little earlier than expected, which is a bonus.

Yeah, that puts it into perspective. I'm not complaining, but it sure is nice to get that check early!
