In the main page of the forum there is an intencive discussion on the new changes of adwords.

There is now a minimum bids for keywords, which are going to be dynamic. Is it off season or a seasonal. Depending on the demand.

Can someone expalin what kind of consequences will this have for publishers. I assume very positive.

Please let us know if you are familiar with the matter.

Thank you.

I think it's really hard to make predictions, especially across the wide variety of AdSense sites.

As the thread that Jenstar started with postings of results on our sites for the first three days of this week, the AdSense system is constantly in flux, with at any given time some sites up, some down, some flat, some up then down, some down then up, some up then down then up, and so on.

If you twist my arm, I'll predict that some sites will benefit from this change, some will not be affected, and some will be hurt by it....

i think the effect that the new system will have is largely dependent on the specific pricing algorithm they will use. they have been very good about disclosing the change in advance, but the algorithm is and will likely be kept under wraps.

my bet is that at first the algorithm will be tuned such that most peoples (advertisers and publishers) results are similar to what they are now. as time passes, however, they can tweak the algo in any direction they want.
