How Often are AdSense Stats Updated?

Hello WW

This is my first post in here, so I hope this is the right way of doing it.

I have just start using google adsense, and it does function very good.

But the first day, it had a couple of problems, sometime my click, views etc. jumped up and down. But after a couple of hours it stopped, but then it didn't update for guess 4-5 hours

Is this normal?

Google adsense is running just fine now, but I was just wondering.

Best Regards

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Yes, that's normal.

When things are going well, the stats update more or less hourly, but delays of a few hours are common. Delays of several hours happen every once in a while.

I have a little question more :)

What is a decent CRT?

mine is 1-2% but is this normal or is it bad?

Well my CRT is currently 54.55%. I am also relatively new to Adsense but i have been promoting my websites quite a lot since i started using a variety of software and using blogs ETC.

Just put in a bit of work getting your website seen by as many people as you can and you adsense figures will slowly increase.

Wow 54%?

You are doing very well!

Well my CRT is currently 54.55%.

Do you have any content or an easy way out of your site?

I would venture to say that CTR is extraordinarily and abnormally high.

CTR over 50% is abnormal, half of that is good and more normal. Of course there are often some pages that get very high CTR but these pages also do not make a lot of money per click...

I would venture to say that CTR is extraordinarily and abnormally high.

That really depends. A site with few visitors will frequently have stats that appear abnormal. But if a site has say, 1000 visitors a day and a 54% CTR, then that's likely to draw some scrutiny from Google.

"Just put in a bit of work getting your website seen by as many people as you can and you adsense figures will slowly increase." Yes but that will increase impressions, not CTR. How do you manage to achieve 54.55%?

I have just submitted my websites to as many different advertising websites as possible, use blogs, software, the usual stuff.

When i started with Adsense my impressions and CTR figures were fairly low but they have been increasing a lot each day. I am not really an expert or anything and i didnt know my CTR of 54.55% was so "abnormal", Lol.

All i can say is promote, promote, promote as much as possible. On as many websites as possible, so you can get as many people looking at your website as you can.

I know it is a pain in the arse at times but try and spend a good couple of hourse a day promoting your website (especially at the start) .
