As you can see the eCPM stays at 0, and so do my earnings. What's wrong with AdSense? Anybody experienced such problems?

1. People in WW have years of experience in Adsense. When you talk to them, listen like you listen to a teacher. Be respectful. You talk too much like a know-it-all programmer - but this is the publishing business, and you are a newbie in that.
2. Google does not make any mistake in reporting clicks. Generally. (exceptions occur sometimes though)
3. You click your own ads, you are usually banned from Adsense for ever. FOREVER.
4. The money you can make from adsense is just too much. Be humble, ask questions nicely, beg, plead, and obey all rules. You can make more than 10,000 dollars a month with one year's effort. All those people who take the time reply to your - they often make unbelievable amounts.
5. Complete honesty - behave like a saint for the next one or two years. You will be rewarded.
I didn't suggest widening the ads. By making them "stand out" I mean don't bury them by blending them so well with the site that ad blindness takes over. You can have ads that stand out, yet look good on the page. Just do a little experimenting with various banners, colour schemes and placements until you find something that you think looks good.
Also, don't be afraid to experiment once you have settled on a style. Many people find that by moving banners around, and changing the layout it increases their earnings.
The other tip is don't have more than one ad unit per page unless you can prove to yourself they are both financially viable. There are many testimonies here from people (including myself) who have dumped second banners, watched the ctr rise, and seen their earning increase - substantially sometimes.

I still don't know how you're 100% certain that other people clicked ads besides yourself...
I didn't press that as I concluded I didn't like the smell. (zygoot refers to it as well)
I hope wanderingmind's excellent message did fully get through. My earlier shots across the bow and atttempted help went ignored as, presumably, it was not something the poster wanted to hear. Some would consider that downright rude.
What's the mechanism that drives more money to you while having just one ad block per page?It doesn't neccesarily drive more money to you, but more per ad block. The feeling is the best paying ads are in the first ad block and the more ads you have the more lower paying ads you will bring in. If the Adwords competition is high for your particular keywords there may be good reason to have all three ad blocks since there won't be a large dop off in earnings per click. For some keyword groups, however, The top paying ad may garner you over a dollar while the tenth top paying ad may be just $.05. If you had two wide leaderboards you could easily be pushing people from clicking a $1 ad to a $.05 ad.
