AdSense and Amazon on same page?

This may have been discussed, but is thsi allowed.

Just noticed another great scraper site in the niche area i work into. about 500 dynamic pages, with page design vertically split in 3 parts. Left side: amazon products; middle area ( large ) pasted search results from google : right side Google AdSense.

Is AdSense allowed with amazon products on same page?

I know this may have been discussed but whats the conclusion and how many people out here are doign it?

Is it worth a try if it is allowed?

It is allowed.. but if its worth it or not, i think there r ppl make money from it and some others dont.. so try it and see if it will work for u!

I was very excited to sign up as an amazon affiliate, and also with powell's city of books - [powells.com...] - and quickly rolled out book ads all over my site. The reason is that many of my articles have long recommended various books, so I figured I'd make lots of money with affiliate ads.

The result is that after several months, I have earned less then ten bucks in affiliate revenue, and not a penny of it for any of the books I specifically advertised. The few sales I made were from someone exploring their sites and purchasing something unrelated to my articles. My top sale so far earned me three and a half bucks when someone bought a hard drive.

I have since decided that I will still place the ads where I specifically mention a book, but mainly as a convenience to my readers and not because I hope to make any money that way.

I'm very interested to hear about affiliate programs that yield better results. I'm quite frightened that I now earn one hundred percent of my income from my adsense check. What if it gets lost, or google goes down? I know I need to diversify, but I don't know what route I should take.
