2 adsense accounts question

Hello all,

If my corporation has an Adsense Account, can I have another one personally?

I would say certainly. A corporation is, in a legal sense, a fictional person and is normally treated as a separate entity. If IBM, Microsoft, Ford, or GM used AdSense, and no one that worked for them was therefore allowed to have an AdSense account, that would be a real problem.

I think yes, because the corporation and you has separate entity. But putting the script on the same website is a different story. :)

better ask google though. :)

I would add to this that the situation might *seem* different if you have a little corporation that you completely control. But legally, I think it's the same thing.

Thanks guys for your quick replies. I do have a small corporation and here is how it would be:

mailing addresses would be the same

bank accounts would be different

I control the corporation so my name would show up in the adsense historical records for my company becuase I signed the company up for adsense and of course my name would show up as an individual. So would it still be possible?

with the mailing addresses being the same, you *could* have a problem, but a quick email to the Adsense team could sort it out for you once and for all and you'll have the answer straight from the source.

are you wanting to sign up and use the same websites the corp uses? On a particular site either you earn the money or the corp earns the money.

The new personal account would be used on personal sites. That is the point to keep the revenue from personal sites seperate from revenue from my corporation sites. Is this okay? Should I email Adsense? If so how should I word it so that they don't upset in some way?

They may allow you to do it if you request it. Something to note is that it isn't a way to keep one account active if one gets suspended. They will be linked and both accounts would be suspended if that were to ever happen.
