Will using the adsense search box on my site get me banned?

It will if you click on the adverts! But it's okay to use the Google Search box to search your own site.

We strongly recommend that you don’t use your AdSense for search box to perform searches yourself. The reasons are twofold:

1. This could increase the risk of accidental clicks on your own ads

2. Searching through AdSense for search will result in reports that don't properly reflect the traffic to your pages.
