Do page impressions count the view of the page or of the ad?

e.g If you have two ads on a page will it show one page impression or two?

Two. It's not actually page impressions, it's ad impressions.

It counts the page veiw. There is a pull down menu on your reports page to show page impressions OR ad impressions.
