How to recognize premium vs regular publisher?

Hi All,

I always go around looking for diferent ways to implement the Ads on my own site, and some times looking at different sites give me more ideas too. However, I use to end up trying to implement things that looks like exclusive for premium publishers I think and I'd like to know if there is a way to know when I'm looking at a premium publisher's page Vs a regular publisher.

In my search I have found this kind of variables that can be set, but when I go into the AS code generator page, I can not find them anywhere:

google_ad_output
google_kw_type
google_kw

these are just a few of them but my list is a little bigger.

Have some body with a regular AS account found/tested about this? is this just for premium publishers? beta testing publisher? or so?

As so far I remember, the sites where I have found these variables are all pub-################ accounts.

I beta test different adsense features before (if at all) they are released to the public. And I'm currently a "normal" publisher -- although at the high end.

So unless they contact you there's no way to use the features currently in beta, as changing your code would violate their T&C.

Look at it this way, if it works Google will make it public, if it doesn't work why would you want that on your pages?

There are various ways to tell premium publishers from normal publishers. There is no "set" feature that sets them apart. Different ad formats or the removal of, "Ads by Google" are the easiest.
