Hi,

How is CTR is calculated,

for eg: if my page has 3 ads in it. There were total 10 page impressions and 4 clicks.

Then ctr is calculated as = 4/(10*3) or 4/10

Abhisek, the CTR that is displayed is dependent on what you have selected in the "Show data by" drop-down box. if you have "page" selected, then the number of clicks/page-impressions is displayed. if you have "individual ad unit" selected, then the CTR that is displayed reflects clicks/#-of-impressions-of-ad-units

I didnt understand onething.

1.) See if i have 4 clicks of 10 page impressions, if i select by page impression my ctr would be 4/10

2.) But if i select individual ad units means(if i have 3 ad units means ) 4/(10 *3)

i will have very low ctr in 2 when compared to 1. So i always prefer to see the ctr in first way right?

So why the second option ad units?

What iam asking was whether iam seeing the ctr through the page impression or through the indivual ad units the ctr should be the same. But with my above calculations its not so right?

Correct me if aim wrong!
