I am not sure this is normal.

I have two sites. Site A, 1 year old. Site B, 4 months old. Both have two blocks of adsense there.

Site A: page impression: 2000/day, ad unit impression, 15,000/day
Site B: page impression: 15,000/day, ad unit impression, 16,000/day

They have so much difference in page impression, but almost has the same ad unit impression.

What can explain this?

What script or application do you use for recording your page impressions?

my ad impressions never add up. i use different tools to track page views and theyre accurate.

example, my main page has 100,000 page views per day, i have one 468x60 and one 120x240 on this page.. yet google reports around 80,000 ad unit impressions.. what gives? there is a flaw somewhere with their tracking because it i should be getting pageview multiplied by 2 (two ads).. shouldnt it be that way? or is google cheating?

page impression and ad unit impression are reports from google adsense. In adsense you can select to view page impression or ad unit impression.
