I have added a link under AdSense ads on a couple of sites promoting AdWords Site Target. It reads "Advertise Here With Google Site Target" and links to the AdWords Help Center Targeted Campaigns page.

I'm obviously trying to promote bidding on a specific site. What are your thoughts on this?

sounds like it'll help google earn money more than it would benefit you.

That's an interesting idea. Let us know how it works out. Is there any way to tell if it works, other than site targeted ads showing up on your site?

Still might be a good way to let potential advertizers know about the option.

Exactly. Another way is to call specific advertisers and send a promotional post card as follow up.

My thought is simple, why not get active in promoting a site? There is a reasonably small group of top advertisers that is easily known and easy to contact.
