Right. I'm running three channels on one page. 1) An Adlinks panel. 2) A 468x70 panel. 3) A URL channel which relates to this page. My current logic says that the URL channel should in theory report the sum of both the ad impressions for both the Adlinks panel and the 468x70 panel, give or take a few impressions down to ads not showing since the page didn't fully load, etc.
This is holding reasonably true (or at least I can deduce what is happening): There are 100% more impressions for the URL channel than the 468x70 panel; I assume this is because the Adlinks represent 50% of impressions for that URL channel. (Adlinks (50%) + 468x70 (50%) = URL Channel (100%))
The problem comes now. Are you ready?
1) No clicks reported for the 468x70 channel but money earned.
2) No clicks for the URL channel, no money earned.
3) Clicks reported for the Adlinks channel and money earned.
You can't say that the money earned in (1) is part of (3) otherwise (2) would show the same as (1). Confused? Yep, me too. Anyone able to flesh this out or have encountered this themselves?
