Iam contemplating of doing another content site with AdSense as the primary revenue generation focus. But this time I won't be going solo. I plan to have a partner, a writer, so I can concentrate on technical development.
The question is:
Does Google allow 2 different publisher codes to reside in one domain? How about 2 different publisher codes on one page?
We live in 2 different countries and have not met face-to-face yet so the revenue-sharing arrangement is a bit unpolished at this point. So if Google allows any of the above, I guess we can proceed with this project. If not, we need to rely on the normally unreliable "trust-based" agreement.
Iam only toying with the idea in my mind because I don't want to complicate the revenue sharing arrangement. It's the first time I found a really good writer who wants to cooperate on a content project so Iam looking at the most transparent way to share AdSense revenue with her to avoid any kind of future "misunderstanding" about money.
If Google says no, then I guess we have to find some other way.
However, you cannot have more than one publisher ID on a page at the same time.
Not in all cases. There can be two publisher ID's on one page IF Google gives permission for it. I am running two pages where one AdSense block contains my publisher ID (because I am the content owner) and a second AdSense block contains the publisher ID of the domain owner. For this specific situation Google made an exception.
But as I said: ask Google first. According to the T&C two publisher ID's one one page are not allowed, unless they approve it.

There is a specific line (par. 11) in the T&C which prohibits transfer of AdSense payments to third parties. I guess they added this line to prevent banned AdSense users to open a new account under the name of their mother, brother or friend, but it can be interpreted in a broader way. Therefore setting up two AdSense accounts for you and the content writer is the most transparent way, but also the only way allowed by the T&C.
