Hi,
I'm in ecommerce and thinking of branching out into adsense. I want to start a content based site. In my ecommmerce site people often crticise me having too many words.

Given that I want to make each page on my adsense site properly useful, can you suggest a good number of words (thinking only of the main content.)

Too short, and the content won't be good enough, people will click away, too long and their eyes will get tired reading.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

This is more a writer's questions than Adsense ralated. As long as you have enough true conent Google will be able to do their part -- provide relevant ads. There are way too many factors to say, "All articles should be XXXX words long with X paragraphs and X sentences."

There really is a skill to internet writing as it's different from say, a book or magazine. Shorter and more to the point is one key to successful Internet articles. But I would say contact a professional for that advice, as that's another topic.
