This is going to be my first check from google and I subscribed for secured Express check with 25$ fees.

I am wondering which postal service they post these checks with...
and if its a known service why they don't give tracking numbers...

some $$$
I don't mind paying 25$ if that's gives my mind some peace.

between Google is Worst when they convert USD to your currency.
it was 2.5% lower than the bank conversion rate when they calculated my payments on 27th.

I have seen the same with more than currecies.

No. It is not fedex. Now they switched to DHL. That too all secure checks will be sent from Ireland.

How many days it take to reach such secured checks?

I believe that US secure checks are still sent from the US via FedEx. Many international secure checks are sent from Ireland (including to Canada which strikes me as so odd, lol). AFAIK, all non-secure checks are still mailed from New York as usual.

No. Non secure checks for Asia and Australia are mailed from Singapore.

Non secure checks for Europe are mailed from Sweden, secured from Ireland using DHL. In European countries you should receive it in 2-4 days.

Has anyone in Canada received a secure check yet? My check number was issued on the 27th. I am not dismayed so much by the fact that it's the 30th and I don't have it yet, but that tomorrow, July 1, is a Federal Holiday (Canada day) and then it will be the weekend. So if I don't get my check today I will get it Monday at the earliest.

I depend on my adsense check for most of my living expenses so I am very anxious.

I filed a support request to ask for the tracking number. Others here have reported that Google claims they don't have the tracking number. I will tell you that is B.S. because they have given it to me before, twice.

I also repeated my request that they supply the tracking number automatically in our payment histories, and asked that they use FedEx instead of DHL. I told them that I was very angry to pay thirty bucks for express service only to have it take almost a week to get my check. Had it been sent FedEx I would already have it, even if it was sent from Ireland.

You know, by delaying our payments by sending them through the slowest courier service available, Google is able to make a pile of cash in interest. I bet Google gets the very best interest rates available on the accounts our checks are drawn from. How much does google pay adsense advertisers each month? If that payment was delayed even one day, how much interest would google earn?

That combined with the poor exchange rate Google gave me (1.21% for USD->CAD, should be closer to 1.23%) really pisses me off. Google should not be nickle and diming those who are most responsible for its success.

I am very well aware that it would not be very hard for me to make just as much money by marketing my ad space directly to advertisers. A significant advantage of that is that I could get paid in *advance*, and more frequently than once a month. Google really should take better care of its AdSense publishers.
