Problem with Adsense serving relevant ads...

Hello...

If I have this right, the Adsense code is supposed to serve ads relevant to the page content, right?

Well, I was trying to explain this to a friend in messenger. To illustrate my point, I <snip> with some text and keywords about the actor Tom Cruise. But instead of serving relevant ads on that page, it's serving space- and astronomy-related links. Why is it doing this?

CLUE: The domain <snip> is/was intended to be a space and astronomy news and info site. It has had some past development, which has been abandoned. I have also been redirecting it to another space-related website. As you can see in the source, it doesn't mention anything about space or astronomy.

So what is the deal?

[edit reason] No URLS as per TOS, please! [/edit]

You have to wait until the AdSense robot reads through the specific address. Until that point, you will be served with ads relevant to higher levels of your site where the content is already cached.

Also, if your address contains specific keywords you might end up with ads relevant to them.

My apologys, jenstar...I must admit that I skipped right over the TOS.

Good news is, I'm reading it now :D.
