Should I Be Worried?

I just rescently signed up for Adsense I am learning how to optomize my ads to help get more clicks out of them right now I get like 3-4k page impressions and only a few clicks a day 1 day I got a crazy 40 clicks and yesterday I got 16 clicks when average was just like 4-5 a day yes very little, but if it can pay for my hosting that is good. Anyway should I be worried that some people may be going click happy? If so what can I do to keep this from happening in the future.

I wouldn't be overly worried about people being click happy, worst case on the rarity that this does happen, and Google suspends your adsense account you can appeal. There isn't anything you can do to make people less click happy, infact I'd rather people be click happy than not. You mention 3-4k impressions, is this a day? If so then 40 clicks is not a lot versus the number of impressions. If you're new to adsense have you posted the adsense code in it's standard colours? If not then you should 'blend' the ads in. You should then see your clicks skyrocket. If 'blending' is new to you and you want more advice please post again

Should you worry? Yes, you should worry, but not because your visitors are click-happy. You should worry because you only get 4-5 (40 max) out of 3K-4K impressions. :) Try to increase your CTR first many-folds. You can start worrying about too many clicks later. :)

Hehe. I guess if you run a forum, the ctr is almost like the one with the posters. Since forum generates less ctr, but try the google adsense tips. It helps a lot.

Yea I know my clicks are way way down, but right now I am reading up on about to bring ads to the site that the people will actually like and click as I see now most people would probably never click the ads that are showing up.
