Am I allowed to put the adlinks code on my signature on my forums? What if other member's put it too? I hope it's not against the TOS, never seen anyone put adsense on signatures before

I'm almost 99.99% positive that that would be a violation.

I don't get how it could be a violation. What's the difference if I put it on my signature or on the forum header/footer?

Heck, I think you should think outside the box and put it in your signature on OTHER people's web sites. If you think it's OK just try it and we'll wait for your "my adsense was cancelled" thread to see how it works out for you.

Now that my sarcasm has almost run it's course, the closest Google comments on this is:

No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed on any domain parking websites, pop-ups, pop-unders, or in any email.

Technically a forum post is a form of message but not necessarily "email". You are limited to 3 ad blocks per page so if you put it in your signature you could violate that without too much trouble if you post too many replies to a thread.

Personally, I would write to Google support and see what they say as this is just way to fuzzy gray of an area but I'd be shocked if they said it was ok.

I think that it writes somewhere that you may not insert Adsense code on sites that aren't directly under your control
