about the google checks

What if the do not arrive - and when should they be cashed?

I donīt know much about checks in the US. Please tell me:

What happens if the check gets lost on its way? Will google send another one just by request?

If I do not cash my checks for maybe half a year, what happens? (I am saving for a bank solution that needs a huge initial deposit)

If a check is lost in transit Google will issue another but not before the first is stopped (by Google at their bank) and if it has been stolen and cashed by the thief this process will take a bit longer.

I wouldn't hold uncashed checks for more than six months because technically they need to be reissued then--though in practice it does not always work that way.

I think you can also ask google to hold all your earnings until you reach a certain amount (the amount to open your account prehaps?)
