Anyone notice the option google_hints in Google Adsense html code? I was looking at one site, which is a large DataBase of Movies and they have their own unique ads without the "Ads by Google" line with the option "google_hints = '+movies';" in the code. I wish I could use this, even if I code just negate certain words.

That would be one of the Premium Publishers. They get all kinds of perks that the regular publishers don't get ;)

There have been a few threads here and there in this forum about other features they have, such as more flexibility in ad sizes, opening ads in a new window, etc.

These type questions seem to pop up every so often so here is the latest list of variables that exist today, excluding the obvious common ones such as color and id etc.

w.google_hints
w.google_safe
w.google_alternate_ad_url
w.google_max_num_ads
w.google_ad_output
w.google_adtest
w.google_ad_channel.toLowerCase()

Unfortunately, we non-premium Adsense publishers aren't (as yet) allowed to use those special variables.

Premium publishers were the first to try out the leaderboard and 300x200 size, as well as the select
color options, then non-premium publishers got them.
So hopefully some of the other variables will come our way soon.

I suspect we will see more options for the regular publishers in the future. Google has hinted as much.
