I have a website with google adsense. The website was constructed with 2-levels hierarchy. In each category google adsense matchs articles perfect. However, the problem comes out in the frontpages. In the frontpage the ads are totally non-relevant!

The frontpage has those articles with brief introduction from sub categories and contains main keywords from subcategories. However, google adsense seems doesn't buy it and show non-relevant ads on it whenever I try different ways.

Does such thing happens to you? what should I do with it?

Sometimes it takes a little time for your site to be spidered properly but in the meantime concentrate on adding much more relevant keyword weight.

The good thing is that you can play with this. Write down a list of your keywords and all the variants, then create a brand new paragraph, place it as a first para and monitor the ads. Keep manipulating this and see what happens.

Yes.

I removed all ads fron the homepage.

Why would you want to have ads there? Let people choose there topic of interest first and then they'll gett relevant ads.

Also, an adfree homepage makes your site look less commercial, so you're likely to get more incoming links.

Is the domain on the same hosting plan as another site? I notice that when I do add on domains, my main page shares the same ads as the main domain page.

I host with several domains together also share same adsense account. Does it affect? I noticed some ads actually related to my another site (niche) are shown on my new website.

arrowman, like what you suggested. I removed ads from frontpage.

I try to manage add more articles and keywords as Peewhy suggested. And then watch with 'google adsense preview tools' first. If matched ads come back, I add it back later.

I had the same problem. I tried the simplest solution of all. I wrote to google, told them about the problem, gave them the problem url. They thanked me for letting me know about it and fixed the problem within a few days.

I had the same problem and replaced the normal ad unit with a small link unit, too early to see any results yet though!
