Something is wrong. I got sudden spike of clicks that lasted 2 hours. My CTR jumped to 20%. I know something is wrong this time.

Or I might be wrong?

You are not wrong. Most probably today is frist of june. Advertisers have big bucks to spend.

Hope it continues till the end of month. :>

CTR has nothing to do with big bucks advertizers spend. the eCPM can increase due to that. ( Yes, ePM is a little higher too, as with the start of each month )

I also noticed the spike of CTR abotu 7 hours ago. my CTR rose to 49% and i got alarmed. It remated same for about n hour and then stabalized. Not it is almost same as my normal days.

You had a ctr of 49%!
Mine rambles around 2 to 3%

How can you break down it to hours?
Mine only shows days, is there another program that people use to follow their adsence clicks?

A new month can indeed bring higher CTRs. Advertisers who exhausted their budgets in the previous month start anew -- and their ads, which perhaps are more compelling than their bargain-basement competitors -- suddenly reappear. Compelling copy, fantastic offers, razor-sharp targeting ... higher CTR and eCPM. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I have a horrible CTR, 1% tops!

I got sudden spike of clicks that lasted 2 hours.

What if these are invalid clicks! Listen, it could be a good thing, new month and all, but make sure you contact google about this.

I have found that the unusual CTR rates can be attributed to Google's Adsense stats system being out of sync (which appears to be happening a lot lately from the posts I've been reading).

Although spikes do and can exist, you'll be able to find out your real CTR and eCPM usually after the day is over (by just running yesterday's stats).
