Change in Page Impression calculations?

Has anyone noticed a recent (last week) decrease in the reported page impressions? It hasn't affected the number of clicks, but the CTR has gone up because of this. The Ad Impressions (shown when viewing by channel) has also remained consistent. And my web stats are showing consistent numbers. However, the Page impressions dropped by about 30% over the last several days.

Has anyone else seen this? At first, I was excited about the significant boost in CTR, but then realized only the page impressions were lowere, with other numbers remaining.

I am wondering if they had fixed a bug in their calculations. I always wondered why there page impression count was so different than my web stats calculations. Now they're quite a bit closer to my own web stats.

yes I noticed impressions were down by about 25 - 30 % too, June 1 all seems back to normal figures

Last week was a long holiday in the US. If you are attracting a lot of US traffic, note that by Friday last week, people were already out travelling to wherever they will spend the Monday holiday. So for most websites, traffic (and ad impressions) would be down during that long period of time. And of course, it goes back up on June 1 because US folks are back again on their jobs and on their PCs surfing. Unless of course your traffic benefits from those types of holidays.
