Is that OK to have two accounts with same address but different names?

I and my brother all have a web site in which we want to use adsense.

I not only have them with the same address but also the same name however this was in the early days of Adsense.

I'm pretty sure it's possible since there are several husband and wife members here running their own accounts.

Ask them.

why not just use one account and split the money?

If your application is declined, you can use the stats to work out which is making what money. As MyWeb says, have one account and split the earnings.

For legal reasons I would recommend you have two seperate accounts - it may save a lot of disputes in the longer term.

If you wanted to only have a single account you would probably need to draw up a partnership agreement and get it all formalised or become a limited company.

I can't see any reason for Google to object to two seperate accounts at the same address. I think they are trying to avoid people running an account
for each of their websites.

Whatever you do... tread carefully. For some reason Google is very, very particular about this part of the TOS. Get prior clearance from them if necessary.

Can you set up both accounts and borrow someone's (a relative) address for sign-up?

After approval, you may then even want to try and update the other address back to your address.

Worth a try. If you do try it, let us know how it worked out...

I was "addsense". The administrator deleted my account because my pervious name was too simliar to the trademark.

My brother already had an adsense account and I just submitted my appilcation.

Thank you, guys!

your biggest problem may be that if one of you is banned for whatever reason then the other person at that address will also be disabled as an "associated person". I know this with 100% certainty. It doesn't matter if you have different e-mails, different urls etc etc or that there is no suspicion on one of the urls. They will both be banned.

I suppose what Blairsp says makes sense. I'd assume a lot of people have set up various accounts as safety nets incase they get caught.

blairsp has a very valid and importanct point.

As MyWeb says...

Ummm... actually that would be wyweb. Something about the spelling seems to bring out this dyslexic tendency in some people. I'm used to it but I also prefer to correct it as well....

sorry...

blairsp , it should not be like that, even two rival brothers with individual business may reside in a same house due to family circumstences. What about it?

I speak from personal experience on this one. Two brothers, same postal address, one is supsected of invalid clicks, the other gets banned also as an "associated account" whther he is suspected of anything or not.
