For the past couple of days, I've had a very high profile bank taking up most of my ad space with a leaderboard image ad. Is that bank targeting my site? Is it a cpm or a cpc ad? how can I tell the difference? I run a community website for the UK.

I just checked again and that same bank is also taking up my 468x60 banner.
How can I find out if its cpm?

If it has the BIG text, like the PSA ads have, it might be one of the new CPM extended text ads. Other than that I don't think there is a way to tell.

Google wouldn't start sending you CPM ads without notice. It is just an image ad.
I don't like them, they look like just another banner on my site, so I disabled the image option and only show text ads on my sites.

What is your source for this statement?
As far as I know, CPM ads, both expanded text and image, are in beta testing and could show up now.
Maybe I'm wrong about that.

It's looking more and more like a cpm ad. it doesn't have ads by gooooole on it and its showing up in most of my site. I'd disable it but don't want to just in case its cpm. its offering a fantastic loan at a great rate ;) however, so far I haven't seen an difference in my statistics. Oh and BTW, when I hover over it it doesn't show what the url is, weird or what?
