What is your AdSense CTR?

let's discuss AdSense CTR in general

My average monthly CTR is around 3.3%. I keep only 1 Google Ad on each and every content page (except index page - that's where I keep 3 ads). I don't want more than one ad on all pages, because my CTR jumps to 8% or 10% and I am not sure is that 'healthy' or what. Who knows what CTR Googe deems acceptable.

What's your CTR? Do you practice removing your Google ads from rich content pages that result in 'extremely' high CTR? (e.g. 8-10%)

although google may frown on extremely high CTRs, i dont think 8-10% is anywhere near this threshhold. in my opinion, you are shooting yourself in the foot for not embracing such CTRs.

Thank you elsewhen for your valuable tip.

Ann, regarding "confidentiality". You don't know URL of my website, I don't know URL of your website. Therefore, we can safely discuss CTR.

But, if you prefer to keep it quiet, than we can go discuss this via PM privately.

I thank all people who sent me PM with their CTR's for this month. Now I am going to insert THREE ADS per each and every page of my 400 pages website.

Watch out Dantol, the Google police will be knocking down your doors in a few minutes if you don't stop breaking the TOS!

Just last week a friend of mine was arrested for ripping the tag off his mattress....

geez people.

I have a couple of sites that get more than 3X the CTR you say you were concerned about, and I've never had any problem (knock wood). I don't think Google cares at all about CTR, as long as their system deems the clicks valid and the advertisers aren't complaining.

I wouldn't worry about CTR over 10%, or 20%, or 30%.

I doubt Google would object to any particular CTR as long as they weren't picking up fraud signals from the page or the clicks.

I have a higher CTR on one of my sites than has been listed in this thread so far...Google hasn't said anything...more money for me, and for them.

Didn't mean to stir anything up with posting the TOS. Just thought of it as a mild cautionary move what with all th BS going on at Goo right now.

Thanks Dantol but I think I will pass....Doubt if you are into Astrology.
