I want to setup AdSense as a default (alternative) campaign for another ad network, and the only way to do so is to display it via iframe. The page is approved by Google.
I hope it is not cheating! After all, AdSense itself offers alternative ads, and we are supposed to display those through some html page, which is actually also iframe. Other ad networks do the same thing: you gotta put alternative ad in iframe, or display it via .js file.
I know they say their "targeting technology is not optimized to serve ads within an IFRAME". But I don't have any option. BTW, the ads they display via iframe are completely relevant to my site's content, so their technology with iframes is not so bad after all.
I think it wouldn't be fair if they suggested we display alternative ads in AdSense via their iframe, but didn't allow us to display THEM via iframe on other ad networks.
Does anybody display AdSense as a default campaign via iframe for Fastclick for example, or any other ad network? Any problems with that?
Also, if you are doing that but both the content and ads are in an IFRAME you'll want to probably try clicking on the frames checkbox when setting up your AdSense code.
